Here at ADC headquarters, we are certain this will be our best year yet, and we cannot wait to see what adventures unfold for us in this year.   • Celebrated Earth Day by hosting events throughout our chapters.

  • Donated wood duck boxes to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation and Georgia.

  • Welcomed Lindsey Hewitt to Minnesota leadership.

  • Hosted 5th Annual Sporting Clays fundraiser in Lithia, FL.

  • Teamed up with Farmhouse Freshies to raise funds for our West Virginia Chapter.

  • Hosted 3rd Annual OBX fishing trip.

  • Welcomed Stacey Whittum to ADC Board of Advisors.

  • Hosted 3rd Annual Noodling trip on Rend Lake.

  • Missouri built bird boxes and bonded over bees and archery.

  • Added DSG and Prois to our wonderful list of sponsors.

  • Florida built chick shelters to be placed along the coast.

  • Welcomed Holly Williams to Ohio leadership.

  • Welcomed Kathrene to Arkansas leadership.

  • Welcomed Alyssa Combs and Erine Richie to North Carolina Leadership.

  • Hosted 5th Annual Dove Hunt in Alturas, FL.

  • Welcomed Cassie Knauss as ADC’s marketing director.

  • Hosted turkey hunting online webinar series, 2 parts.

  • Hosted 2nd annual Snow Goose hunt in Arkansas.

  • Hosted Webinar with Sabrina Hayes on her knowledge of mosquitos and ticks.

  • Initiated our Facebook member spotlight series.

  • WV and MI hosted annual trash pick-ups and highway clean-ups.

  • MI participated in Walk for Trees event hosted by MI DNR.

  • Hosted 3rd annual Reelfoot lake Duck Hunt with Ron and Kelly Capps

  • Hosted 5th Annual Missouri Turkey and Deer hunts with Dan and Jan Jennings at the Lodge at Circle J.

  • ADC Jr Members in Michigan tended to their ADC Jr Garden.

  • Indiana hosted 2nd Pheasant Hunt with Sugar Creek Sporting Clays.

  • Hosted 4th Annual Osceola turkey hunt and raffle in Plant City, FL.

  • Put on Spring Flower Power Fundraiser and Winter wreath fundraisers.

  • Indiana hosted a new fishing workshop to create glow in the dark lures.

  • Hosted 4th annual scalloping trip in Keaton Beach, FL.

  • 5 ADC members met in Cody, WY to backpack on horseback, fly fish and camp.

  • Put on 2 hat and 1 new tee shirt fundraisers.

  • Hosted Wisconsin bow fishing trip.

  • Hosted multiple meet and greets though out our chapters.

FL: Trapper Assoc Women & Youth Trapper Training

ADC Members will be attending the following event put on by Florida Trappers Association. https://floridatrapper.org/events This is a great introduction for youth and beginners. This training will cover the basics of trapping; box traps, snares, reading animal tracks, baiting and the release of non-target catches. MN: Ice Spearing & Fishing Weekend

FL: Fundraiser – Turkey Season Bundle Raffle – Benefitting Bat House Build Project

Bats play a key role in Florida’s wild habitats as pollinators and seed spreaders. ADC’s Florida Chapter is raising funds to build and install Bat Houses around the state. Our goal is to raise at least $400 which would cover the cost of building 10 Bat Houses. MI: 1st Annual Ladies on the Lake

American Daughters of Conservation Michigan Chapter teamed up with Women of the Woods & Water + Michigan Women’s Hunting Club to host the 1st Annual Ladies on the Lake Event during Michigan’s FREE FISHING Weekend. $20 registration fee – open to the first 30 women to register. FL: Bat Box Build Day

Florida Chapter members will meet to construct bat boxes for installment around the state of Florida. Participants in the build day will have the option to pre-order a bat box kit to take home for their personal use. Location of this event is still TBD. LA: PJF Farm & Lodge Trip

Louisiana Chapter is excited to be hosting ladies Friday, April 14-Sunday, April 16, 2023! We are going to reserve half the spots for Louisiana residents and open the rest to ladies from other chapters.
