FL: Crowley Museum and Nature Center Conservation Weekend

July 19 @ 5:00 pm - July 21 @ 12:00 pm

Join us for a weekend of conservation work at the Crowley Museum and nature center!
What to expect:
We will be doing a lot of hands on work on the property of the Nature center. There are a lot of invasive plants that need to be hand pulled and other general maintenance tasks, possibly trail clearing etc.
For those who need a lighter duty task, you can volunteer to dust/clean the museum/store.
We will be going on a native plant species and introductory foraging hike as time and weather permits.
We will be tent camping but if you’re unable to camp and want to help for the day, the more the merrier.
Please come prepared to camp in hot weather, and bring plenty of extra water. There is a screened porch we can use if needed.
Cost:
