Members of the Michigan Chapter will meet for their Summer Clean Up on the stretch of I-75 adopted through the Adopt-A-Highway program.
FL: Wood Duck Nesting Box Build
Goethe State Forest - Apex Pavilion 9110 SE CR 337, Dunnellon, FLMembers from our Florida Chapter will meet at the Apex Pavilion in Goethe State Forest (Dunnellon, FL) on Saturday, September 4th to assemble Wood Duck Nesting Boxes. The boxes built at this event are being donated to a Study focused on Wood Duck Nesting Habits that is being conducted in the Southeast US.
FL: Invasive Species Hunt – Iguanas
ADC Members will meet near Pembroke Pines, FL to assist in the removal of Iguanas from the wild. Iguanas are a non-native, invasive species in Florida and are having a negative impact on the local eco-system. This is a Members Only event and all spots are currently full.

Chinsegut Conservatio Center 23212 Lake Lindsey Rd, Brooksville, FLADC Members will meet at Chinsegut Conservation Center to construct Chick Shelters that will be donated to FWC to be used in Shorebird Nesting projects. Chick shelters are small structures that are put out on the beach to provide shade for flightless chicks and a safe place to avoid avian predators.
