Snorkelers, divers, and water enthusiasts are invited to participate in Dive Against Debris at the Gulf State Park Saltwater Pier on Saturday, October 18, at 8 AM. This event, hosted in partnership with Down Under Dive Shop, aims to improve the health of our underwater ecosystem by removing trash, fishing line, and other debris from beneath the pier while it is temporarily closed for this cleanup effort.

If you are a certified diver, Down Under Dive Shop is offering FREE TANK RENTALS. They will also have FREE SNORKEL GEAR for non-divers… You just need to call them ahead to reserve the gear you need.

 Gulf Shore lifeguards and public safety divers will be present, along with the orange beach, marine police boat, to help ensure the safety of all participants
