Join us for a casual afternoon of learning, exploring, and conservation!

⏰ 2:00 – 4:00 PM (with a fire to follow if weather allows)
💲 $10 per person
📍 Lakeville, IN, address provided after registration

This event will be held on privately owned woods enrolled in both the State Classified Forest & Wildlands Program and the Conservation Stewardship Program.

We’ll kick things off with a 30–60 minute talk from a retired forester, covering topics like:
🌿 Tree identification
🌿 Invasive species
🌿 Practical tips for recognizing trees and habitats

After the talk, we’ll head into the woods for hands-on tree ID, habitat exploration, and a group effort to clear out invasive autumn olive. If the weather cooperates, we’ll wrap up the afternoon with a fire, hotdogs, chips, and water. Feel free to bring a side dish to share!

What to Bring:
✔️ Clippers or other cutting tools
✔️ Work gloves
✔️ Folding chair
✔️ Tick/mosquito spray
✔️ Wear boots, long pants, and sleeves (briars are sharp!)
